A standalone adult horror novel about a boy who claims to be the child of a woman and a wolf.

After Nelly's mother dies, he drops out of school and sinks into a strange isolated grief in his small religious town. Nelly takes refuge with his new neighbor, Teva, an older farmer who shares Nelly's disbelief in the small gods that everyone else pays tribute to. With both his parents now gone, Nelly's home is but a husk, providing shelter only to insects, his own growing anger, and his uncle's festering resentment. Behind closed doors, Nelly's uncle keeps him on a tight leash. At the old farmhouse down Allen Drive, Teva feeds Nelly like a stray animal. Deep down in his rotten red insides, Nelly knows what he is.
